    What an achievement! - Leading Parent Partnership Award

    Rochdale Primary School  reaps the rewards of its work with Parents as they achieve the

     “Leading Parent Partnership Award”.

    Brimrod Primary School were, last Monday, awarded with the “Leading Parent Partnership Award” which celebrates the school’s work with Parents and Carers and the local community. The award consists of 10 objectives that include providing a programme of enrichment opportunities that encourages parents and children to enjoy learning together, the provision of learning opportunities for parents to support their child’s and their own learning, excellent communication processes in place and a wide range of strategies used to collect feedback from parents.

    The award takes 18 months to complete and is verified by an external verifier who completes a comprehensive visit to school, speaks to parents, Governors, staff and pupils and looks at the evidence provided by school.

    On completion of the award the external verifier commented: 

    "Thank you to yourself, your parents, pupils and your colleagues for meeting with me. I was very impressed with the welcoming and passionate culture of your school as well as the hard work that has gone into your school's commitment to developing parental engagement."

    "Thank you for allowing me to experience and explore the significant support you provide to your students, staff, and families. It was lovely to speak with everyone and hear about the impact your hard work and ongoing support have had on everyone within the school community. I can't wait to see where your future journey takes you!"

    Headteacher Louise Thompson, commented “ We are thrilled to have achieved this award as it is testament to the hard work and commitment of every member of staff in school and to our parents who have worked with us. Parental engagement is of the highest importance if we are to get the best out of our children and we will be continuing on this journey as we strive to make our school a real corner stone of the community.”
